The Parish Council serves approximately 2,500 households in the villages of Kirk Ella & West Ella in the East Riding of Yorkshire, with a population in excess of 5000. The precept for 2007/08 is £16,800. The precept for 2008/09 has been set at £14,500 This website allows the Council to communicate more effectively with residents and to provide them with contacts within the Parish and the East Riding of Yorkshire County Council. It will be kept fully updated with items of local concern including access to current planning applications and how you can make your views known. The Parish Council works closely with many local organisations including the local police, the Flooding Working Group, Kirk Ella Preservation Society, West Ella Preservation Society and Kirk Ella Environment Improvement Society (KEIS). |
