The Parish Council serves approximately 2,500 households in the villages of Kirk Ella & West Ella in the East Riding of Yorkshire, with a population in excess of 5000.

This website allows the Council to communicate more effectively with residents and to provide them with contacts within the Parish and the East Riding of Yorkshire County Council. It will be kept fully updated with items of local concern including access to current planning applications and how you can make your views known.

The Parish Council works closely with many local organisations including the local police, the Flooding Working Group, Kirk Ella Preservation Society, West Ella Preservation Society, Kirk Ella Environment Improvement Society (KEIS) and Neighbourhood Watch Groups.

The Your Council page has contact details and pictures of all Parish Councillors with links to the latest minutes of meetings, the current parish precept, an Archive of past minutes and an agenda for the next meeting, posted just prior to meetings.

The Local News page informs residents of items of interest or importance and the Local Events page of events in the area.

The Your Community page now incorporates the original Neighbourhood Watch and Local Police Pages

The Planning Information page briefly explains the local planning process and with a link to the East Riding Planning portal. The Local Heritage page has links to the Heritage Trail publication and Conservation area information.
